American Girl II (Linda Barnes) is an Amalgam of DC's Supergirl (Linda Danvers) and Marvel's Bucky (Rikki Barnes).

History

Linda was the niece of Carol Barnes and grew up wanting to be a hero like American Girl. Linda became a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and was assigned to help design a prototype teleportion device. The device malfunctioned and opened a doorway to a pocket dimension. A protoplasmic lifeform escaped from the portal and fused with Linda, giving her alien powers. Linda decided to use these powers to carry on her aunt's legacy as the new American Girl.

Powers

American Girl II possesses physical powers of superhuman strength and speed.

American Girl II also possesses telekinetic powers that she uses to fire psionic force blasts, surround herself in a psychic force field that simulates having invulnerability, and fly.
