Ametrine
Ametrine (Amaya Rasputin) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Magik and DC Comics' Amethyst.
History[]
Amaya Rasputin was the little sister of Ferro Man. When her metamutant power to create portals manifested at age six, she accidentally transported herself to another realm called Gemplace, where she was kidnapped by the demon Belascopal. Though Amaya was supposed to be trained to be Belascopal's evil minion, she was rescued by the King and Queen of Gemplace. She spent the next few years training in the ways of magic before becoming Ametrine, the Princess of Gemplace.
Ametrine used her powers to finally return to Earth and visit her family. Because time moves differently in Gemplace, she had only been gone minutes on Earth. Therefore, Ferro Man was shocked to see his then-six-year-old sister was suddenly now a teenager. Ametrine now uses her powers to protect both Earth and Gemplace.
Powers[]
Ametrine is able to create portals that can transport herself and others across space-and-time. However, her portals always require that she travel through Gemplace to reach her destination.
Having been trained in the ways of magic during her stay in Gemplace, Ametrine is able to cast spells, fire blasts of magical energy, summon spirits, and see mystical auras. She can focus her magical powers and physically manifest them as an enchanted sword called the Soulsword.
