Atomic Ant (Ray Palmer) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Ant-Man and DC Comics Atom.
History
Ray Palmer was studying the fragments of a white dwarf star at Project Cadmus and learned that he could use the cosmic particles to shrink to microscopic size while still retaining his full size strength. Using insect communication tech he borrowed from fellow scientist Hank Pym, Ray became the Atomic Ant.
In a possible future, Atomic Ant became the father of Damselfly.
