Blue Dolphin is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Blue Shark and DC Comics' Dolphin.

History

The woman known only as the Blue Dolphin had been abducted by aliens. While experimenting on her, the aliens erased her mind and spliced her DNA with genetic material from Atlanteans and dolphins. Blue Dolphin escaped and fled into the ocean, where she lived among a pod of dolphins until she met Aqua Mariner and Torrent. With their help, she relearned how to speak before using her powers to help them protect the oceans. Blue Dolphin bonded with Torrent, who was still grieving the loss of his lover, Mariner Girl. At first he rejected her affections, preferring to only be friends. But as time progressed, he soon realized he loved her too.

Powers

Blue Dolphin has superhuman strength, can swim at high speeds (she is a much faster swimmer than even the Aqua Mariner), and is able to able to breathe underwater.

Blue Dolphin has superhuman hearing and can see in the darkest depths of the ocean with her night vision capabilities. She can generate ultrasonic clicks and whistles that she can use to communicate with dolphins or for echolocation.
