Carmine (Kimiyo Hoshi) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Cerise and DC Comics' Dr. Light.

History

Kimiyo Hoshi was an astronomer who was studying an anti-matter cloud in outer space. While out in the void, Kimiyo was stuck by an alien teleportation beam and was fused with an alien woman called Cerise who was attempting to teleport to Earth. Now able to control and emit radiant red energy due to Cerise's alien physiology being fused with hers, Kimiyo became the hero known as Carmine.

Powers

Carmine has the power to absorb the light around her and convert it into strange red light that she can use to project blinding flashes, fire bolts of laser-like energy, or create solid photon constructs. She can also use her power to fly. Carmine also possesses a degree of alien super strength.
