Coldsnap (Brek Huang) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Meanstreak and DC Comics' Polar Boy.

History

When activist Brek Huang's metamutant speed powers manifested, he made the jump from hacking the computers of corrupt corporations to fighting crime as Coldsnap. He even became a member of the Legion of X-Heroes 2099.

Powers

Coldsnap is a metamutant who absorbs the ambient kinetic energy around him to boost his speed to superhuman levels (at his top speed he can exceed the the speed of sound). As a result of his kinetic absorption, the temperature in his vicinity plummets below the freezing point as he slows down the molecular motion around him to a near stop. When he runs he leaves behind a freezing contrail that gets colder as he accelerates.
