Dirge

Dirge (Dwayne Cassidy) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Banshee and DC Comics' Geist.

History[]

Dwayne Cassidy was an Interpol agent who was pursuing a suspect. The suspect was revealed to be a parasitic alien and it attacked Dwayne, biting him. The attack triggered Dwayne's latent metamutant sonic scream powers and he was able to defeat his attacker. He developed invisibility powers as well due to the alien DNA that had entered his bloodstream during the attack. Dwayne decided to use his new powers to become the ghostly vigilante known as the Dirge.

Powers[]

Dirge is a metamutant who can generate sonic energy with his vocal cords. By screaming, Dirge can project deafening sound waves that can hurt a target's inner ears or create sonic force blasts that can shatter steel. By focusing his powers downwards in a vibrational wave and using his glider wings, Dirge can fly at high-speeds.

The alien DNA in his bloodstream allows Dirge to alter the vibrational frequency of his molecular structure and let light pass through his body, effectively becoming invisible.
