Firewing

Firewing (Carrie Juarez) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Firebird and DC Comics' Redwing.

History[]

Carrie Juarez was hiking in the desert when a meteor struck the ground near her. The "meteor" was actually an alien experiment from an alternate timeline. She was exposed to fiery alien radiation that mutated her, giving her powers and causing large bird-like wings to sprout from her back. Believing her powers were a gift from the Native American gods, Carrie decided to protect the innocent as Firewing.

Firewing has the pyrokinetic power to create and control fire and heat. She can also fly using her wings.
