H.E.C.T.O.R. (Hector Tarleton) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' M.O.D.O.K. and DC Comics' Hector Hammond.
History[]
Hector Tarleton was a scientist working for the Weaponers of A.I.M. He was assigned to study meteor samples to see if they could be used as weapons. The radiation from the shards mutated Hector, enlarging his head but shrinking his body. His mutation also gave him increased intelligence and psychic powers. Calling himself H.E.C.T.O.R. (Highly Evolved Creature Totally Oriented on Revenge), he was poised to take over the world. However, Iron Lantern reversed the polarity of H.E.C.T.O.R.'s ion cannon and defeated him. H.E.C.T.O.R. is now trapped in the prison levels of Oa the Living Planet, planning ways to break free.
