King Lizard

King Lizard is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Lizard and DC Comics' King Shark.

History[]

DNA samples taken from Project Cadmus scientist Dr. Curt Connors were stolen by an unknown villain and spliced with the DNA of several reptiles, creating the savage monster known as King Lizard. He was captured by Spider-Boy and kept in the containment cells at Cadmus until a battle between Spider-Boy and Bizarnage broke the power array to his cell. During his escape, King Lizard damaged the power core keeping a clone of American Girl in suspended animation.

Crashing into Hank Pym's lab, King Lizard was exposed to size-altering Pym particles, causing him to grow to the size of a kaiju. In order to stop him, Spider-Boy managed to fire a white dwarf star device he took from Ray Palmer into King Lizard's mouth and shrunk him to subatomic size.
