Kokoro (Tatsu "Betsy" Braddock) is the Amalgam of DC's Katana and Marvel's Psylocke.

History

Tatsu Braddock was a metamutant who left her quiet home in England to travel the world and eventually became the sword-wielding mercenary known as Kokoro (the Japanese word for “heart”). Joining the JLX, she was caught in a love triangle with fellow teammates Nightcreeper and Angelhawk. At some point, Kokoro found herself being hunted by Sinistron before being saved by the timely arrival of Magneto and The Magnetic Men.

Powers

Kokoro possesses the metamutant power of telepathy, which allows her to read minds and communicate with others using her thoughts. She can control people’s minds and alter their perceptions with her telepathic powers as well.

Kokoro also has the ability to charge her katana blade with psychokinetic energy that can disrupt the nervous system of anyone she strikes with it at its lowest intensity and cut through almost anything at its highest.

Kokoro is a highly skilled martial artist who has been trained in the ways of ninjitsu.
