Mister Immortal (Scott Free) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Mister Immortal and DC Comics' Mister Miracle (Scott Free).

History

Scott Free was the New Asgod of immortality, trapped on Apokolips by Thanoseid. He was able to escape with the aid of his lover Big Titania and fled to Earth, where he trained in the art of escapology under the tutelage of Miss Miracle and became Mister Immortal, the death-defying escape artist.

Able to resurrect instantly after he died, Mister Immortal became a circus performer who specialized in escaping death traps. However, he felt guilty that he and Big Titania were able to live freely when so many were enslaved on Apokolips. The two eventually returned to their planet to free it. When Thanoseid was going to destroy all of reality with the Infinity Loop, Mister Immortal sacrificed himself to stop the device, losing his immortality and dying permanently.
