Myna

Myna (Delya Birdy) is an Amalgam of Marvel's Birdy and DC's Mentalla

History[]

Delya Birdy applied to join the Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099 as the psychic metamutant known as the Myna but was passed over in favor of Psi-Girl. Frustrated and determined to prove her worth, Myna stole a Time Square and traveled into the past. There she tried to use her empathic healing powers to rehabilitate one of the most notorious villains in Legion history, the Hyena. Initially it worked, but over time the Hyena became resistant to her mental influence and killed her.

Myna is a metamutant who possess telepathic powers that allow her to read minds and broadcast her thoughts into the minds of others. She is capable of using her telepathy to alter the thoughts of others and influence their behavior.

Myna is also an empath with the psionic power to amplify positive emotions and use them to heal mental and physical trauma. Her empathic powers also have a dark side, as she is able to amplify negative emotions and pain to cause physical brain damage such aneurysms and strokes
