Nightcondor (Ryan Richmond) is an Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Nighthawk and DC Comics Black Condor. Orphaned as a teenager when his parents died in a car wreck and forced to deal with the emergence of metamutant telekinetic powers, Ryan Richmond fled to the desert and slowly mastered his powers. He discovered that not only could he move objects with his mind, he could amplify his physical strength by focusing his psionic energy inward. By using his telekinesis to levitate himself and then flapping the artificial wings he built for himself, Ryan could fly like the birds he felt such a kinship with. He became the Nightcondor, an environmental activist and later joined the Freedom Defenders.
