Pathogen (Rudy Brock) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Venom and DC Comics' Parasite.

History

Rudy Brock was a double agent for the Agenda Corporation, assigned as lab tech at Project Cadmus to collect and sell their secrets, before he was exposed by Spider-Boy and fired. Seeking revenge, he planned to steal genetic samples from the Cadmus labs for the Agenda Corporation only to be stopped by Spider-Boy. During their fight, Rudy was exposed to and bonded with an alien symbiote that Cadmus cloned Bizarnage from. The alien ooze transformed him into the deadly Pathogen. Motivated by a shared hatred of Spider-Boy and Cadmus, Pathogen seeks to bring Spider-Boy's world crashing around him.

Powers and abilities

Pathogen's powers are similar to those of Bizarnage, such as superhuman strength, claws, and symbiotic webbing. However Pathogen possesses the power to absorb the life energy of anyone he touches.
