Protek (Ritchie Falconer) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Prodigy and DC Comics' Aztek.

History

Ritchie Falconer was a straight-A student who was also the captain of his college wrestling team. His intelligence and strength made life very easy for Ritchie and he felt unfulfilled. He was approached by a man who claimed to be a former superhero. The man offered to give Ritchie an arcane armor that was both hi-tech and yet fueled by the magic of the serpent god Quetzalcoatl. Ritchie jumped at the chance and became Protek, unaware that his armor was created by the evil Green Skull as part of a secret plot.

Powers

Protek's armor is fueled by the magical energy of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. The armor gives him superhuman strength and limited invulnerability, and allows him to fly. The mirror on his chest can fire blasts of arcane energy or surround him with a light-distorting stealth field. Protek's helmet gives him enhanced visual abilities, such as infrared vision and x-ray vision, as well as giving him access to the memories of past warriors.
