Red Queen (Madelyne Pryor) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Goblin Queen and DC Comics' Fiero.

History

Madelyne Pryor was the twin sister of Firebird (although her hair and fire powers are red instead of green). She used her metamutant powers to become the Red Queen. Red Queen fell in love with Apollo while Firebird was in a coma and used her telepathic powers to influence Apollo into returning her affections. Red Queen’s romance was cut short when she was captured by the villainous Alice Arcade and forced to fight the White Queen to the death on a giant chessboard, and lost the battle and her life.

Powers

Red Queen is a metamutant with pyrokinetic powers that allow her to create and control fire with her mind. She can fly by focusing her flames downward in a compressed stream.

Red Queen also possesses the telepathic power to sense a person's innermost burning desire and then psionically compel them to act on it. This ability causes people around the Red Queen to become less inhibited and do things they wouldn’t normally do.
