Red Starlight
Red Starlight (Tania Kovar) is an Amalgam of DC's Red Star and Marvel's Starlight.
History[]
Tania Kovar was a child prodigy and one of the youngest neurosurgeons in Russia. She was exposed to strange radiation and gained amazing powers. Tania learned that she was constantly emitting radiation, which meant she could no longer work as a doctor. She was given a containment suit by the Russian government and trained to be Russia’s own superhero.
Calling herself Red Starlight she used her powers to defend her homeland, but when her father was exiled to Siberia she defected. Red Starlight and her father fled to the United States and she became a member of the Freedom Defenders.
Powers[]
Red Starlight can generate and manipulate various forms of radiation. She can fire blasts of intense heat or explosive force, create flashes of blinding light, and disrupt electronic devices. She can use her powers to fly and can even transform herself into a being of living nuclear energy.
Red Starlight has to wear a specialized containment suit to protect those around her from the radiation her body emits.
