Shadow Lady (Jill Tyler) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Shadowoman and DC Comics' Phantom Lady II.

History

Jill Tyler was the daughter of an Attorney General who was being blackmailed. A student of an espionage academy who had been trained in combat and the covert arts by Spider-Lady herself, Jill decided to locate and expose the extortionists. When she found their hideout, the blackmailer used an occult relic to release a demon that killed Jill. However, a charm on the necklace Jill was wearing wasn't just a family heirloom, but in fact was a piece of a totem of a shadow goddess known as Slorioth. The demon magic combined with the magic in the charm and Jill was reborn in a body made of living shadows. She used her newfound powers to bring the blackmailer to justice. Deciding to use her powers to fight the darkness in the world, Jill donned a dark costume inspired by her mentor Spider-Lady and became the Shadow Lady.

Powers

Shadow Lady can manipulate shadows and project a field of absolute darkness around her targets, effectively blinding anyone inside the field. She can shift into a living shadow form which allows her to fly and phase through solid matter.
