Shine

Shine (Gaby Bishop) is is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Shard and DC Comics' Halo.

History[]

Gaby Bishop hails from a future where metamutants are hunted and imprisoned. A metamutant herself, Gaby was gifted with the power to absorb photonic energy and release it as beams of energy that had various effects depending on the color of the spectrum they were. Gaby became the hero known as Shine to fight for metamutant freedom. However even with her amazing powers, Shine's cause seemed doomed. Since she couldn't save the present, Shine decided to alter the past. She and her brother Marvel Man stole time travel tech and escaped to the present day where they now fight to ensure their future never comes to pass.

Shine has the power to absorb light and release it as photonic energy beams. The effect of her beam depends on its color:

Red - Heat blast
Orange - Concussive force blast
Yellow - Blinding light flash
Green - Healing beam
Blue - Electromagnetic disruption pulse
Indigo - Anti-gravity levitation beam
Violet - Stasis field
