Silver Siren (Theresa McDougal) is is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Siryn and DC Comics' Silver Banshee.

History

Theresa McDougal, a metamutant with a sonic scream, attempted to use an ancient spellbook to break the banshee's curse that had plagued her family for generations. The spell backfired and Theresa was sent to the Netherworld. There she made a deal with the phantom queen, the Morrigan, that in return for for her freedom Theresa would be the Morrigan's servant forever. The Morrigan agreed and transformed Theresa into the Silver Siren. Now returned to Earth, and having her metamutant sonic powers enhanced by the Morrigan's dark magic, Silver Siren does whatever her dark mistress commands.

Powers

Silver Siren is a metamutant with the power to generate ultrasonic frequencies with her vocal chords. No only is she able to shatter steel with the power of her sonic scream, she can hypnotize people with her song, kill someone just by saying their name, and even fly by riding her own sonic vibrations through the air.
