Starstrike II (Jack Masterson) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Thunderstrike (Kevin Masterson) and DC Comics' Starman (Jack Knight).

History

In an alternate timeline, Jack Masterson was the son of Starstrike. After his father's death, Jack was kidnapped by a cult that worshiped L'ok D'saad so that he could activate his father's Gravity Mace and resurrect their god. However, when Jack touched the Gravity Mace, he fused with it and transformed into a new version of Starstrike. After he used his new powers to escape, Jack decided to carry on his father's legacy as Starstrike.

Powers

Fusing with Gravity Mace enables Jack to transform at will from a normal human into Starstrike II, a being with physiology similar to that of a New Asgod. As Starstrike II, Jack is superhumanly strong and nearly invulnerable.

Starstrike II can channel the energy of the stars and fire concussive bolts of cosmic force. By directing his blasts downward, he can propel himself through the air like a missile.
