Swan Song (Melissa Beaudry) is is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Songbird and DC Comics' Silver Swan.
History[]
Melissa Beaudry was born to a poor family that lived near a nuclear waste dump. The exposure to the toxic radiation in the womb caused Melissa to be born with numerous physical deformities. As she grew up she found that her vocal chords had mutated and every time she spoke she released deafening sonic waves that were harmful to those around her so Melissa quit speaking. Withdrawn and alone, Melissa agreed to be part of an experiment by the Roxxon corporation that healed her and made her beautiful. The scientists at Roxxon equipped Melissa with a high-tech collar sonic collar that allowed her to not only speak at a safe volume, but also focus and amplify her power. Codenamed Swan Song, Melissa soon found that she was now under the control of Roxxon and was now going to be their own personal hero.

Swan Song can use her voice to emit sonic force blasts or create objects out of "solid sound". She can even fly by creating wings made of pure sonic energy.
