Swiftstreak

Swiftstreak (Joan Kelso) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Bluestreak and DC Comics' Joanie Swift.

History[]

A metamutant with uncontrollable speed powers, Joan Kelso felt that her powers were more of a curse than a blessing. However, once she learned of Johnny Quicksilver's speed formula (3X2(9YZ)4A) from his niece Jesse Turbo, Joan was able to not only stabilize her powers but actually increased her speed. She decided to explore the limits of her abilities as the heroic Swiftstreak.

Initially Swiftstreak couldn't control her powers and would randomly accelerate to speeds approaching 75mph when she tried to walk or run. Once she learned the mathematical speed formula, Swiftstreak was able to control her powers and run at a top speed of 750mph (almost the speed of sound).
