Tachyon (Monica Saunders) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Photon and DC Comics Takion.

History

Monica Saunders was a Harbor Patrol lieutenant who was exposed to the extra-dimensional energy of the Source Wall by Highfather Odin. Able to transform herself into a being of living energy, Monica became the Tachyon.

Powers

Tachyon is connected to the energy of the Source Wall and can transform herself into a being of pure cosmic energy. In her energy form Tachyon can fly at speeds exceeding the speed of light, fire blasts of cosmic energy, manipulate any form of physical energy (light, heat, electromagnetism, kinetic energy, etc), phase through solid matter, and survive in the vacuum of outer space.
