Tagak the Lantern Lord

Tagak the Lantern Lord is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Tagak the Leopard Lord and DC Comics G'Nort.

History

Tagak was an extra-dimensional hero who was chasing a criminal between realities. He landed on Oa the Living Planet when his dimension-traveling crystal got shattered.

Tagak learned that Oa had once empowered a group of heroes known as the Starbrand Corps until they died at the hands of Uatu the Guardian. Oa wanted to continue their legacy and Tagak decided to help. Using pieces of the Tagak's dimension crystal, they were able to turn Oa's core core into a central battery. The battery would power lantern-shaped mini-batteries that Oa could give to a new generation of heroes. Tagak also created a ring to focus the battery's power further. He then became Oa's first champion, the Lantern Lord.

Powers

Tagak has feline senses and retractable claws, and can telepathically "see" through the eyes of other cats.

As the Lantern Lord, Tagak can use his ring to channel power from Oa's core battery to create objects out of solid green energy and fly.
