Torrent
Torrent (Garth) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Undertow and DC Comics' Tempest.
History[]
As a teenager, Atlantean metamutant Garth had been exploring far from the undersea city of Atlantis when it was destroyed. Lost and alone, Garth traveled the seas until he eventually met the Aqua Mariner. Excited to no longer be alone, Garth joined Aqua Mariner as his sidekick, Torrent.
Powers[]
As an Atlantean, Torrent has the standard abilities of his people; superhuman strength and durability and the ability to breathe underwater. Like the Aqua Mariner, Torrent ages at a much slower rate than a normal human.
Torrent is also a metamutant, able to mentally control and manipulate water in all its forms. His control over water is so powerful that he can even manipulate the temperature of water, bringing it to a boil or freezing it, with a thought
