Voltage (Virgil Bradley) is an Amalgam of Marvel's Bolt and DC Comics' Static.

History

Virgil Bradley was just a normal teenager until two rival gangs began fighting at his school. The police arrived and used an experimental tear gas on the crowd. The gas triggered Virgil's dormant metamutant potential and he manifested electrical powers. A huge fan of comics and superheroes, Virgil decided to become a hero himself and created a costume for himself. Calling himself Voltage, he took to the streets to fight crime with his new powers.

Powers

Voltage can absorb and channel electricity from a variety of sources, even the very static in the air. He can fire electrical bolts, short circuit electronic devices, and alter his vision to see electrical fields. He can also supercharge metallic objects with electricity until they become polarized and generate a magnetic field that matches the polarity of the geomagnetic field of the Earth itself, allowing him to ride the object as it travels at high speeds via magnetic levitation.
