Vortex

Vortex (Greg Daniels) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Texas Twister and DC Comics' Vigilante.

History[]

Greg Daniels was a the son of a Texas county sheriff who chose to be a country singer and stage show performer rather than follow in his father's footsteps. However when his father was shot by bandits, Greg chased them down. While in pursuit a tornado struck a nearby power power plant and Greg was exposed to irradiated winds. He found that he now had the power to control tornadoes and used his new abilities to avenge his father. Deciding to honor his father's memory, Greg modified one of his Wild West stage show costumes into a superhero costume and became the Vortex.

Powers[]

Vortex can mentally manipulate the air in his immediate vicinity to create a tornado around himself that he can use to fly. He can fire tornadic wind blasts from his hands or use the force of the wind to increase the impact of his punches.

He supplements his powers with his handguns and his skill at trick shooting that he learned to do in his stage shows.
