Yellow Faerie (Meggan York) is is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Meggan and DC Comics' Yellow Peri. Meggan York had been obsessed with magic and myths ever since she was a small child. When she found a burned-down occult bookstore , Meggan had to go inside. There she found a spellbook that had been completely untouched by the fire. When she opened it she found she had the power to cast spells that controlled the elements of nature, sense the emotions of living creatures, and fly. Calling herself the Yellow Faerie, she used her magical gifts to help people and eventually found herself fighting alonside Captain Lionheart, and they fell in love. Yellow Faerie would later learn that her spellbook didn't give her any powers at all, it merely unlocked the latent abilities she had inside as she was actually a fairy/metamutant hybrid.
